Leslieville Antique Days

Today Kiefer and I went to Leslieville Antique Days and Tractor Pull. Kiefer was super excited for "Tractor Time"! We ran into Tom & Sharon who were already there too. Kiefer got to go for a ride on the little train, we ate some home made cinnimon buns, some rhubarb pie and ice cream, listened to the live old time band and we looked at all the antique tractors.

Kiefer and I went to walk our friends' dog Jake this week a few times. Kiefer loves Jake. He's is a big gentle giant and Kiefer finds him very amazing. With pride, Kiefer took his turn at the leash and was relishing in his responsibility of walking the dog. Kiefer cried when we left because he didn't want to leave Jake all alone.

We all went into Red Deer to enjoy Westerner Days!

Kiefer's Day Out!

Today Kiefer, Sharon, Tom and I took Barney for a swim in the dugout.

We found tadpoles. Tom caught one for Kiefer.

Kiefer was pretty impressed with the wiggly tadpole.

Tom & Kirk are constructing a new building at the farm. We stopped by to check out Kirk welding on top of some poles.

Kiefer got a few jumps in on the trampoline too!

Finally we took a break in the house. Kiefer had an ice cream cone, which is his favorite and I had some of Sharon's home made rhubarb pie, which is my favorite!

Trip to the Field!

Today we went to the field to see the guys seeding. Ella loved the tractors, loved reading the letters on the Landroller and loved playing in the tall grass, especially with the seed heads.
